Dose-dependent transcriptome changes by metal ores on a human acute lymphoblastic leukemia cell line.

This Research by Sun NN et al from the Southwest Environmental Science Center and the Department of Pediatrics, University of Arizona College of Medicine, Tucson, USA was prompted by the high occurance of Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia in children and related morbidity. The study demonstrates that metal ores found in these areas significantly increase cell growth.
